Hey There!

I'm Leanne Verity. Most days, you can find me curled up with my rescue labrador, watching Mrs. Doubtfire for the umpteenth time, while working away on my laptop!

I am a born and raised Long Islander, living in the middle of the island with my husband in our beautiful home.  A born creative, I have found happiness and passion behind the lens. Specializing in families, maternities and intimate weddings, When I'm not photographing weddings or portraits, I am an event coordinator at a restaurant in Huntington.

Having been a photographer "on the side" (how many times do you hear that?) for over five years, I made the choice in 2018 to pursue this dream with the same bravado that I have all my other dreams.

When you're in event services, you're not just a vendor. You're a confidante, the person who can bustle a dress or fix a hem. You're a part of the family, and at the end of it all, you become a friend.

Having built an incredible catering business over the last four years, increasing the number of parties a year from 80 to 250, I have learned invaluable lessons; the most important being trust between client and vendor. My customers are important to me. The details of their event are important, and whether I'm photographing the event or planning it, I treat each session as if it were my own. It makes all the difference.

As a photographer, I bring my talent for seeing the little details, being present while also an observer, and my knowledge of events to the table. I love capturing all the little details of the day (give me all the beautiful rings and heirlooms!). I love the way your future husband or wife lights up when they see you for the first time. I hold back tears during special dances, like the father daughter dance. I love being able to use names when doing family photographs, and learning all about each families history.

In Latin, “Verity” means “truth”, and that is my ethos. I find truth in love, connections, and sharing stories.

I look forward to learning about you, your family, and your dreams.

xx,Leanne
